Israel Today Staff — “We demand that the State of Israel pay compensation for the ten plagues that our forefathers in Egypt suffered thousands of years ago as a result of the curses of the Jewish forefathers.” So wrote prominent Egyptian columnist Ahmad Al-Gamal shortly before the Jewish Passover, causing a great stir.“What is written in the Torah is that Pharaoh discriminated against the children of Israel. What have we to do with it? We therefore need not suffer!” exclaimed Al-Gamal, drawing a clear difference between the Egyptian kingdom of the Pharaohs and Islamic Egypt of today. Islam accepts the biblical narrative as historical evidence.
The columnist suggested that the government in Cairo press charges against Israel: “The Jews caused the land to be stricken with locusts and all agriculture destroyed, turned the Nile red with blood so that one could drink its waters, sent darkness, frogs and killed the firstborn.”
Al-Gamal continued: “During 40 years of wandering in the desert, the Children of Israel enjoyed our goods, which they stole before abandoning us.” He also recommended that Egypt bring charges against France, Great Britain and Turkey for those nations’ historical conquests of Egypt.
The Egyptian column was picked up by the Israeli press, especially religious news outlets, which readily acknowledged all that Al-Gamal wrote as historical fact. Passover Being Watched As First Of Rare Series Of Lunar Eclipses Arrives
WND EXCLUSIVE — Astronomy classes in high schools and colleges usually pay attention when there is a lunar eclipse, plus a few scientists who want to renew their memories of the image.But this coming week’s eclipse, the first of a rare “tetrad,” a series of four blood moons on Jewish holidays this year and next, is getting a lot more attention.
As in the author of “Blood Moons: Decoding the Imminent Heavenly Signs,” Pastor Mark Biltz, appearing on the Today Show on Monday to talk about the phenomenon.
Some consider it nothing more than an alignment of the heavens, but others are watching much more closely, because of the alignment with biblical prophecy.
“We are on the verge of witnessing something historic,” said Biltz, who discovered the blood moons phenomenon in 2007.
A report from AccuWeather.com details just which regions of the United States will have the best view of this astronomical phenomenon beginning at 12:53 a.m. on the Tuesday, April 15.
Viewing conditions will be poor in the eastern United States, except for South Florida, AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Brian Edwards said.
Edwards reported, “A front will stretch from central Quebec down through the Appalachians into the Gulf Coast. It will bring clouds, showers and even thunder in the South and mid-Atlantic. It will be mostly dry but clouds will be streaming into New England.”
But high pressure systems over the Canadian Prairies, Texas and Oklahoma will be in control, bringing clear skies and good viewing conditions to the central U.S. and parts of the Southwest, Edwards said.
“A storm off the Pacific Northwest coast will bring clouds and showers to western Washington and Oregon,” he said.
What begins on Passover is called a “blood moon tetrad,” a series of lunar eclipses that has occurred before in history – at times when there have been significant events for the nation of Israel.
They were there for the Six-Day War in 1967, and for the nation of Israel’s rebirth in the 1940s.
This year – and in 2015 – they happen on the biblical holidays of Passover and the Feast of Tabernacles, or Sukkot.
Biltz discovered what has become the “blood moon phenomenon” back in 2007, researching the correlation between when blood moons fell on feast days and key historical world events. He found the divine link between prophecy, heavenly signs, historical events, and when they intersect.
His new book “Blood Moons: Decoding the Imminent Heavenly Signs” details the science of astronomy in light of Bible prophecy. He began to teach and explain his discovery of a series of lunar and solar eclipses that happened at the same time important dates (Passover, Feast of Tabernacles) on the Hebrew calendar.
“Blood Moons” was released nationwide March 18, and has consistently been one of the top books sold on Amazon.com. A full-length documentary produced by WND Films and featuring Biltz was also released the same day.
As Passover nears, millions of people around the world are watching with anticipation for the moon to turn blood red with the first eclipse.
But Biltz said that to really understand the meaning, it’s important to know the seasons, feasts and calendar of the Lord.
Biltz, founder of El Shaddai Ministries, is a well-known commentator on the feasts of the Lord who has spoken in Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, Canada and throughout the United States.
When he appeared on The Jim Bakker Show, host Jim Bakker called Biltz’ work, “the most important book of the times.”
Biltz spent two-days recording interviews with Lori and Jim Bakker at their Christian retreat in Branson, Mo., with Bakker saying that these upcoming broadcasts will tell “the definitive story of the impending blood moons by the man who discovered the astronomical relationship behind the prophecy, heavenly signs and when they intersect.”
Bakker told Pastor Biltz that he read “Blood Moons” in exactly one setting, spending an entire night consuming every page and detail set forth in the book.
Joseph Farah, who wrote the foreword to “Blood Moons,” spoke with Pastor Biltz about the importance of being on God’s calendar, as outlined in Genesis 1:14.
Farah said: “You are the ‘blood moons’ guy, you are the discoverer of something that has become a phenomenon around the world. People recognizing God has given us heavenly signs for our times. And talking about time, the whole world is on a seven-day calendar and has been since God created the world. It’s in Genesis. What’s so significant about those seven days unless it came from the hand of God?”
Biltz said “mankind has been trying to change the seven day week forever, but it’s set in concrete, and this is what God created, despite man’s greatest endeavors.”
“This is God’s calendar,” he said.

BLM Attempted Cover-Up of Sen. Reid/Chinese Gov’t Takeover of Ranch for Solar Farm
Kit Daniels, Infowars.com — The Bureau of Land Management, whose director was Sen. Harry Reid’s (D-Nev.) former senior adviser, has purged documents from its web site stating that the agency wants Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy’s cattle off of the land his family has worked for over 140 years in order to make way for solar panel power stations.
Deleted from BLM.gov but reposted for posterity by the Free Republic, the BLM document entitled “Cattle Trespass Impacts” directly states that Bundy’s cattle “impacts” solar development, more specifically the construction of “utility-scale solar power generation facilities” on “public lands.”
“Non-Governmental Organizations have expressed concern that the regional mitigation strategy for the Dry Lake Solar Energy Zone utilizes Gold Butte as the location for offsite mitigation for impacts from solar development, and that those restoration activities are not durable with the presence of trespass cattle,” the document states.
Another BLM report entitled “Regional Mitigation Strategy for the Dry Lake Solar Energy Zone” (BLM Technical Note 444) reveals that Bundy’s land in question is within the “Dry Lake Solar Energy Zone and surrounding area” which is part of a broad U.S. Department of Energy program for “Solar Energy Development in Six Southwestern States” on land “managed” by BLM.
“In 2012, the BLM and the U.S. Department of Energy published the Final Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (PEIS) for Solar Energy Development in Six Southwestern States,” the report reads. “The Final Solar Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement assessed the impact of utility-scale solar energy development on public lands in the six southwestern states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah.”
“The Approved Resource Management Plan Amendments/Record of Decision (ROD) for Solar Energy Development in Six Southwestern States implemented a comprehensive solar energy program for public lands in those states and incorporated land use allocations and programmatic and SEZ-specific design features into land use plans in the six-state study area.”Back in 2012, the New American reported that Harry Reid’s son, Rory Reid, was the chief representative for a Chinese energy firm planning to build a $5-billion solar plant on public land in Laughlin, Nevada.
And journalist Marcus Stern with Reuters also reported that Sen. Reid was heavily involved in the deal as well.
“[Reid] and his oldest son, Rory, are both involved in an effort by a Chinese energy giant, ENN Energy Group, to build a $5 billion solar farm and panel manufacturing plant in the southern Nevada desert,” he wrote. “Reid has been one of the project’s most prominent advocates, helping recruit the company during a 2011 trip to China and applying his political muscle on behalf of the project in Nevada.”
“His son, a lawyer with a prominent Las Vegas firm that is representing ENN, helped it locate a 9,000-acre (3,600-hectare) desert site that it is buying well below appraised value from Clark County, where Rory Reid formerly chaired the county commission.”
Although these reports are in plain view, the mainstream media has so far ignored this link.
The BLM’s official reason for encircling the Bundy family with sniper teams and helicopters was to protect the endangered desert tortoise, which the agency has previously been killing in mass due to “budget constraints.”
“A tortoise isn’t the reason why BLM is harassing a 67 year-old rancher; they want his land,” journalist Dana Loesch wrote. “The tortoise wasn’t of concern when [U.S. Senator] Harry Reid worked with BLM to literally change the boundaries of the tortoise’s habitat to accommodate the development of his top donor, Harvey Whittemore.”
“Reid is accused of using the new BLM chief as a puppet to control Nevada land (already over 84% of which is owned by the federal government) and pay back special interests,” she added. “BLM has proven that they’ve a situational concern for the desert tortoise as they’ve had no problem waiving their rules concerning wind or solar power development. Clearly these developments have vastly affected a tortoise habitat more than a century-old, quasi-homesteading grazing area.”
“If only Cliven Bundy were a big Reid donor.”
