Tsvi Sadan, Israel Today — Navi Pillay, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, complaining that "no such protection (Iron Dome) has been provided to Gazans against the (Israeli) shelling" is like saying that Hamas rockets intercepted 90 percent of the Israeli (Iron Dome) missiles.Hilary Clinton explaining that Hamas fires its rockets from urban areas because "Gaza is pretty small" is like saying that the airplanes flew into New York's Twin Towers because they were too high.
Nancy Pelosi's awakening after the Qataris promised her that Hamas is a humanitarian organization is like discovering that Osama bin Laden is a saint.
Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz and a dozen of other Spanish actors accusing Israel of genocide is as serious as if Natalie Portman and Mili Avital (both Israeli actresses) were to accuse Spain of committing genocide in the Basque regions.
Pillay, Clinton, Cruz and all the others, in adopting and voicing such idiocy, represent something transcending the usual anti-Semitic discourse. They represent a degenerate civilization that has lost its healthy senses, a civilization increasingly unable to distinguish between good and evil, a civilization that even turns good to evil and evil to good.
The compassion showed toward a terror state (Hamas-ruled Gaza) is but one manifestation of this epic deterioration. The transformation of pornography into legitimate adult entertainment, the applause for gender confusion, and the denial by Nestle (the world's largest food producer) that access to fresh water is a basic human right are but few additional examples of a civilization that has lost its inner moral compass.
And yet, even in this degenerate civilization, there are glimpses of saneness.
Mike Judge's movie Idiocracy is a biting satire of the world in which we are living. Idiocracy depicts a futuristic world where stupidity reigns supreme. It is a world in which intelligence is consistently debased, and which stupid, irresponsible people are turning into a sexually-motivated dystopia (the opposite of utopia).
Fools would think that Judge is envisioning a futuristic world. The wise, however, know that he is describing our prevailing contemporary society. » Full Article
