PASTOR ANDREW RUSSELL preaches on John 18:28-40 and explains the stages of the trial of Jesus. He was brought before Annas, Caiaphas and Pilate. The Jewish leaders accused Jesus before Pilate on three points: They found Jesus perverted the nation, forbidding to pay taxes to Caesar and saying that He Himself is Christ, a king. Pilate could not find any fault with Jesus and wanted to release him, but the Jewish leaders and people wanted his death and ask to release Barabbas instead.
