JOHN GIBSON talked about his book The War on Christmas: How the Liberal Plot to Ban the Sacred Christian Holiday Is Worse Than You Thought, published by Sentinel. In his book, the author wrote about the secularization of Christmas and the push towards making the holidays politically correct. The author argues that Christmas has become a divisive issue in American politics as groups like the ACLU have campaigned to remove Santa Claus from public displays, ban Christmas trees from some public offices, and remove the holiday presence in public school calendars. Following his remarks, Mr. Gibson responded to questions and comments from members of the audience.
