There are moments in political history when the mask slips, and what was once hinted at suddenly stands in full view. The America 250 celebration was supposed to be about the founding of a nation, the providence of God, the liberties purchased by blood, and the history of a republic now staggering under the weight of its own apostasy. But in the new ‘political religion’ of our day, our nation is no longer the attraction, the Constitution is no longer the attraction. Even God is certainly not the attraction. Donald Trump is the attraction. Just remember this, in Trump’s TPUSA version of Christian Nationalism, the King James Bible believer is near the top of their ‘enemies list’. Remember that.
President Donald Trump called Saturday for the cancellation of upcoming concerts celebrating America’s 250th anniversary after several musical acts backed out, saying they should be replaced by a political rally headlined by himself. “So I am thinking about bringing the Number One Attraction anywhere in the World, the man who gets much larger audiences than Elvis in his prime…and the man who some say is the Greatest President in History (THE GOAT!), DONALD J. TRUMP, to take the place of these highly paid, Third Rate ‘Artists.” Trump said he was ordering aides to assess “the feasibility of doing an AMERICA IS BACK Rally” on the mall, where he would deliver a speech “rallying the Country forward like I have done ever since being President!” Yesterday, Trump said that anyone who disagrees with how he is conducting his failing war in Iran is “unpatriotic”, making Trump worship the definition of what it means to be an American patriot. Remember how we thought Barack Obama was narcissistic? This exceeds that by a factor of ten, maybe a hundred. Trump is surrounded by yes-men syncophants who dote on his every tweet, and carry out his every wish. Not one Christian anywhere in the White House as all of it has been given over to Satan. When I think about the upcoming events related to America’s anniversary over the next 5 weeks, I have a horrible sense of foreboding in my spirit regarding the safety and future of our once-great nation. By Breanna Claussen: Bible prophecy is an exceptional gift given to us by God. The Creator of the universe, in His sovereignty and authority, provides us with an astonishing glimpse into the future.
Sadly, instead of reading these prophecies with hopeful anticipation, discernment, and assurance, vast segments of the church are spiraling down a dangerous road, failing to recognize the disastrous consequences of three incorrect approaches to Biblical prophecy.
Removing — In the first category are those who ignore Biblical prophecy as a whole; unfortunately, they make up a considerable portion of the church.
In this case, over one-third of Scripture is disregarded entirely, often branded as confusing, divisive, impractical, disruptive, or a stumbling block scaring away new believers. Each of these accusations misrepresents God’s prophetic Word and its powerful impact.
The apostles not only used Bible prophecy as a witnessing tool to showcase the authenticity of Jesus Christ, but they also considered the topic to be essential to a Christian’s understanding from the very beginning of their walk with the Lord. Equipped with knowledge about the future from Scripture, Christians are encouraged (1 Thess. 4:18, Luke 21:28, 2 Peter 1:19), filled with hope (Titus 2:13, Phil. 3:20), receive special blessings (Rev. 1:3), and are promised rewards in eternity (2 Tim. 4:8).
Considering that “the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy” (Rev. 19:10) and Christ frequently urged the church to “watch” for the season of His return (Matt. 24:42), the position of rejecting Biblical prophecy is an untenable position for any believer to take. It is also deeply damaging, leaving us with an incomplete picture of God’s plan of redemption, and having a ripple effect through our understanding of Scripture.

Last Sunday at Zion Lutheran Church (ELCA), however, the congregation was invited into something very different.
The call to worship reportedly declared:
"Strange One, Fabulous One. Fluid and ever becoming One...You are Mother, Father and Parent. You are Drag Queen and Trans Man and Genderfluid, incapable of limiting your vast expressions of beauty."
The words were not offered as commentary, discussion, or theological speculation. They were presented as worship itself. Congregants were invited to participate in a call-and-response liturgy affirming these descriptions of God.
That distinction matters.
Because when the call to worship becomes blasphemous, the damage extends far beyond one controversial statement. It strikes at the very heart of what worship is meant to be.

When pressed by journalists on whether she had personally seen the evidence cited against Israel, she replied flatly: “No, because it’s not my job.” She added: “I made it clear to Israel I would not visit any detention facility, even if offered. It’s not the responsibility of my office to do any verification.”

A federal judge has ordered the National Park Service not to interfere with a liberal organization’s display of an “86-47” flag at its ongoing demonstration near the National Mall, rejecting the contention that the phrase was meant as a coded call for violence against President Donald Trump.Uh-huh. We’re pretty clear on what it means a century later.
U.S. District Judge Randall Moss issued a two-week restraining order Monday at the request of Accountability Now USA, which has been protesting Trump for months at a site in front of the federal courthouse on Constitution Avenue.
Moss concluded that the group intended to advocate for Trump’s removal from office via impeachment, and that “86” is not an unambiguous call to political violence — and certainly not the kind of “imminent” violence that would be necessary to justify restrictions on speech.
The Obama-appointed judge appended a Merriam-Webster definition of the term “eighty-six,” which defines it as a 1930s soda-counter slang meaning “to throw out “ or ”to get rid of.”
