His Facebook posting takes the dozens of orders from mostly federal judges across the country that haveimposed same-sex marriage on populations that voted against the idea and puts them in perspective.

By Robert Spencer, Jihad Watch —Damn the evidence, full speed ahead: Obama has declared the Chapel Hill murders a hate crime, and the Muslim advocacy groups in the U.S. are determined that they be treated as a hate crime, and now the “Palestinians” want in on investigating the “terrorist” act. That’s a great idea. It would be fitting to have an invented nationality that specializes in fabricating atrocities to claim for itself the mantle of victim investigating another case that is being used to claim victim status for an entire group.
The target of all this, of course, is not Craig Hicks. His situation will be the same either way. Whether he is a murderous Islamophobe or a psychotic who killed people over a parking space, he is still a murderer who committed heinous crimes for which he will be imprisoned for life or executed. The real targets of this mass hysteria calling for these murders to be investigated as a hate crime are those who supposedly created the climate of “hate” that led to his murders — that is, those who speak the truth about Islam and the jihad threat. And this is where this campaign is proceeding in the most flagrant disregard of the facts, since Hicks showed no sign on his Facebook page (on which he posted a great deal) of having any connection to “Islamophobes” or “Islamophobia,” and actually on several occasions showed the standard Leftist sympathy for Islamic supremacism.
But the facts don’t matter. The goal of the campaign to label these murders a hate crime is to silence criticism of Islamic jihad terror. This is being sold to Americans in this way: the first false claim is that people are angry with Muslims not because of jihad terror, but because of “Islamophobia” and the “hate campaign” supposedly led by “Islamophobes.” Thus silencing the “Islamophobes” will keep people from being angry with Muslims, and that will prevent more innocent Muslims like Hicks’ victims from getting killed.
This is hogwash, of course. People who are angry with Muslims are angry because of jihad terror, not because of “Islamophobic” propaganda. If the “Islamophobes” (remember: all critics of jihad terror are tarred with this name) are silenced, jihad terror will still remain, but it will be forbidden to discuss and oppose it. And that is the ultimate goal of this campaign: to allow the jihad to advance unopposed and unimpeded....

Illegal aliens are now able to get Social Security numbers, and once they do, they can claim up to four years' worth of tax credits, which could be as much as to $24,000.
The payments -- dubbed "amnesty bonuses" by Republicans -- are only just now emerging as a prime reason Obama invoked executive authority. With 2016 coming fast, Democrats know Hispanics will be pleased with their windfall of free cash and vote for their party.
But Republicans are lining up to stop the bonuses. "I represent hard working, law-biding Texans," Rep. Sam Johnson, a senior Republican on the House Ways and Means Committee, told the Associated Press. "I think these amnesty rewards, and that's what they are, need to be stopped."
Four million to five million illegal aliens are now shielded from deportation under Obama's order. Republicans are threatening to hold up funding for the Department of Homeland Security to overturn the order. The department runs out of cash Feb. 27....

President Obama’s temporary deportation amnesty will make it easier for illegal immigrants to improperly register and vote in elections, state elections officials testified to Congress on Thursday, saying that the driver’s licenses and Social Security numbers they will be granted create a major voting loophole.
Having illegals vote in elections in the United States illegally for Democratic candidates (who will then put into place laws that allow them and their friends and families to become citizens and hop on the American gravy train) is the Holy Grail for the Democratic (or should I say anti-American) Party. To the Left, the end justifies the means. With voter ID laws being passed around the country, an illegal with a drivers license and social security number can still vote!

On this day in 1774, the First Continental Congress sends a respectful petition to King George III to inform his majesty that if it had not been for the acts of oppression forced upon the colonies by the British Parliament, the American people would be standing behind British rule.
Despite the anger that the American public felt towards the United Kingdom after the British Parliament established the Coercive Acts—called the Intolerable Acts by the colonists—Congress was still willing to assert its loyalty to the king. In return for this loyalty, Congress asked the king to address and resolve the specific grievances of the colonies. The petition, written by Continental Congressman John Dickinson, laid out what Congress felt was undo oppression of the colonies by the British Parliament. Their grievances mainly had to do with the Coercive Acts, a series of four acts that were established to punish colonists and to restore order in Massachusetts following the Boston Tea Party.

The king did not respond to the petition to Congress’ satisfaction and eight months later on July 6, 1775, the Second Continental Congress adopted a resolution entitled "Declaration of the Causes and Necessity of Taking Up Arms." On this day in 1967, socialist revolutionary and guerilla leader Che Guevara, age 39, is killed by the Bolivian army. The U.S.-military-backed Bolivian forces captured Guevara on October 8 while battling his band of guerillas in Bolivia and assassinated him the following day. His hands were cut off as proof of death and his body was buried in an unmarked grave. In response, angry supporters of the bank gathered outside the White House and burned an effigy of Tyler. The protestors were comprised primarily of members of Tyler's own political party, the Whigs, who dominated Congress at the time.

Ford is sworn in as president, making him the first man to assume the presidency upon his predecessor's resignation. Congress had accused Nixon of obstruction of justice during the investigation of the Watergate scandal, which began in 1972. White House tape recordings revealed that Nixon knew about and may have authorized the bugging of the Democratic National Committee offices, located in the Watergate Hotel in Washington D.C. On this day in 1775, the committeemen of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, meet and respond to news of the Battles of Lexington and Concord, the first battles of the American Revolution, with a series of 20 patriotic resolutions.
This meeting gave rise to a lasting historical myth better known than the event itself. In 1819, the Raleigh Register published a document that it claimed was the Mecklenberg Declaration of Independence from May 20, 1775. Controversy continues regarding the declaration's authenticity, but it is likely that the so-called declaration was a misdated and edited version of the resolves that were actually recorded on May 31.
The so-called Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence printed in 1819 contained five resolutions.
