U.S. Border Patrol Agents Threatened To Stand
Down If The Department Of Homeland Security
Executed A Plan To Use Force Upon Protestors
J. D. Heyes, Natural News — Border Patrol agent Hector Garza, in a recent interview with Fox News Channel host Sean Hannity, said that despite agents along the U.S. southwest border being inundated with tens of thousands of illegal border crossers in recent weeks, most nevertheless went to work with positive, upbeat attitudes.
It appears, however, that attitudes might be taking a hit, as the Obama administration pushes policies that are anathema to American ethics and national security requirements.
According to the Guerilla Media Network (GMN), an "exclusive expose" regarding the standoff in Murrieta, California, between local and federal law enforcement and residents opposed to the government's shipping of scores of illegal aliens to the community, "a confidential informant inside the Murrieta U.S. Border Patrol facility" says "the real reason busses stopped delivering illegal immigrants was due to a virtual mutiny" within the agency's ranks at the station.
‘They Threatened To Stand Down’
GMN reported further that a recorded telephone interview with "a highly credible and prominent Murrieta community leader" on July 14 "revealed that frontline U.S. Border Patrol agents threatened to stand down if the Department of Homeland Security executed a plan to use force upon protestors if they impeded buses transporting undocumented immigrants into the Murrieta processing facility."
Murrieta is the only location where local residents have been regularly protesting and opposing placement of undocumented aliens that have crossed illegally into the U.S. in recent weeks.
“Most of the Border Patrol agents here at this facility are residents of Murrieta, and when they found out that the DHS was going to come in with riot gear, the agents declared that they would not obey any unlawful orders which violate the Constitutional rights of peaceful protestors,” said the informant, according to GMN. “Our contact inside the U.S. Border Patrol told us that we do not even realize how impactful the protest was....it was a shot heard around the world....all the way back to Guatemala; Mexico, and not just the U.S. Government....the influx of immigrants coming over the border has decreased from 1500 per day down to 800 per day...cut almost in half as a direct result of what we’ve done.”
Sources said that frontline Border Patrol agents are essentially refusing to perform any act that they deem
unconstitutional upon protestors, intentions which they made perfectly clear to supervisors, GMN reported. As a result, DHS could not proceed with delivery of subsequent busloads of illegal aliens to Murrieta. GMN said that local police were standing with the U.S. Border Patrol officers in refusing to unconstitutionally engage and/or limit protestors' First Amendment right to assemble peaceably for just such purposes.
GMN further reported:
On June 23, 2014, local residents of Murrieta California express[ed] their will to prohibit the U.S. Government's lawless policy of transporting and dumping immigrants who are being allowed into the United States without proper documentation to verify they do not have a known criminal history; processing immigrants without proper medical screening; accepting busloads of immigrants at overcrowded facilities without regard to capacity, as well as dumping of unlawfully admitted immigrants in communities all over the United States.
‘Protect The Whistleblowers’
The Border Patrol whistleblower has also expressed concern about retaliation by the U.S. government for his willingness to speak up about unlawful and unconstitutional requests and conduct he has observed within the local branch of his agency. He went on to ask that all whistleblowers receive some form of legal protection from government retaliation -- over and above what the federal Whistleblower Protection Act already provides -- and that Congress hold public hearings to look into alleged wrongdoing by the Obama administration in actions taken regarding the current border security crisis.
"My contact has pleaded with community leaders to reach out to our local Congressman and demand Congressional inquiry," the confidential informant said. "We also need to hold our local Sheriff accountable for his gross Constitutional negligence....he was nowhere to be found, and he's the top law enforcement official in the county. The sheriff potentially jeopardized the lives and safety of our local residents, as well as the Murrieta Police and U.S. Border Patrol Agents if the DHS came in with force."

‘It’s Time That We Start To Work With The States’
Greg Corombos, WND Radio — Rep. Paul Gosar, R-Ariz., says Republicans in Congress are ready to start acting in response to what they consider to be President Obama’s refusal to honor the rule of law and defend the nation’s borders.
Gosar said the upcoming actions include tightening funding to the relevant federal agencies accused of not doing their jobs, enforcing strict constraints on who is allowed to stay in this country after coming illegally and bypassing the president to work with states to restore security to the U.S.-Mexico border.
The first tool the GOP plans to employ is the power of the purse, which does not require approval from the Senate or the president.
“September is the largest spending month in federal workforce calendars,” Gosar said. “So why don’t we re-prioritize these aspects within the IRS, which has hardly been a stalwart aspect of upholding the Constitution? How about the Department of Justice? How about the executive branch? I think all these can suffer a little bit in regard to bringing that money forward so that the American taxpayer doesn’t have to be impugned by additional finances.”

On Wednesday, the House voted to reduce IRS funding in fiscal 2015 by $566 million below current spending levels. The congressman said the exact strategy on reducing funds is not fully worked out, but he said GOP members are definitely in agreement on the general idea.
“I think there’s a lot of consensus that there’s opportunity here to look within the current budget and making sure that the president is brought before the Constitution so that he upholds the Constitution,” said Gosar.
A 2008 immigration law is causing frustration for some border security advocates since it mandates due process for children crossing the border rather than simply turning them around and sending them home. However, Gosar said the law also puts clear limits on who can stay here in those circumstances.
“(We need to be) streamlining the process, holding the administration accountable with respect to the 2008 law,” he said. “They’d have to show that they were part of sex trafficking. That’s the only detail that most people are not talking about. It’s not just anybody from a contiguous state; it’s those that are involved in sex trafficking (who can stay). Hardly every single individual that’s been transported is involved in sex trafficking.”
Gosar admits that demanding Obama enforce the law only goes so far.
However, if he refuses to do his job, the congressman said Congress can go over his head and coordinate with border state governors who do take national security seriously.
“It’s time that we start to work with the states, like Texas. Gov. (Rick) Perry has shown that he’s ready to move. I think the governor of Arizona (Jan Brewer) would be another good place, given her stalwart actions in regard to defense of the border. I think California will also join along. New Mexico, I think, would also because a plurality in New Mexico want border security enforced,” said Gosar, who elaborated on the steps Congress can encourage the states to take.
“The first thing that states have is the National Guard. They have the power of their purse in regard to initiating that response to the border as well as police enforcement. So I think the first aspect is a show of force to make sure the rule of law is actually supported,” Gosar said.
Two other legislative efforts are underway, but neither will have the support of Rep. Gosar. Earlier this week, Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, and Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, introduced a bill mandating much faster processing of the tens of thousands illegally crossing the border.
Their plan would require each case to be heard within seven days of each person clearing HHS inspection and a decision on whether a person can stay in the U.S. to be rendered within three days of the hearing.
Gosar said this plan isn’t terrible but is completely unnecessary.
“The president already has in his arsenal the ability to accomplish exactly those things: to speed up the opportunity, executively change the process. He has the ability to do that right now,” he said.
The congressman also has little use for Obama’s request for $3.7 billion in emergency spending. He said Obama is jamming unrelated spending priorities into this bill, and it won’t really solve the problems.
“I think throwing money like he’s asking for at this problem without having a stalwart plan … is not a good plan at all,” he said.
Gosar said Obama owns this problem because of his unilateral implementation of several DREAM Act provisions in 2012 and for championing the Senate bill, which provides for instant legalization for the vast majority of those in the country illegally. He also said the rule of law is breaking down because the president refuses to enforce what’s on the books and his constituents are noticing.
“We have a lot of people very upset,” he said. “They range from folks that are on the liberal side to the conservative side, saying this is out of hand. This is a humanitarian crisis but also a crisis on the sovereignty of this country.”
The president contends the problem lies at the feet of congressional Republicans, who refuse to pass comprehensive immigration reform legislation. However, Gosar said the voters are not fooled, and the failure to resolve this crisis soon will backfire on Obama and his party.
“I’d hate to be a Democrat come November,” he said.

As reports flood in about the recent attack on a Malaysia Airlines plane that was shot down over Ukraine, Americans look for answers and await information concerning the murder of 295 people on board, including 23 Americans.
Meanwhile, President Obama has carefully dodged the topic in order to campaign for increased infrastructure spending in Delaware.
The Ukraine interior ministry claims that the plane, a Boeing 777, was shot down by a Buk surface-to-air missile and the Pentagon has revealed that they believe that the plane, Flight MH17, was shot down by Russian separatists in the region. Reportedly, Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin engaged in a brief call regarding the crash.
The situation could have longstanding consequences as Russia has continued to assert dominance in Ukraine, despite meager whimpers of protest emanating from the Obama Administration.
With 23 Americans having been on board, it seems clear that the United States will have a vested interest in learning who was responsible for the unprovoked attack. A similar situation occurred in 1915 when the RMS Lusitania was sunk by either a German U-Boat or a mine. On board the British ship were 159 Americans of which 124 died.
The incident rapidly turned international sentiment against the Germans and aided in the ultimate decision for the United States to enter the war against Germany.
While the world tuned-in to learn about the attack on MH17 in the aftermath of the attack, President Obama casually dined at The Charcoal Pit in Wilmington, Delaware, ordering a cheeseburger and fist-bumping patrons in a jovial fashion.
Soon after, Obama spoke to a crowd at Wilmington about the attack for a total of 38 seconds before switching to an upbeat tempo and campaigning. Speaking to the crowd, Obama remarked that “the world is watching reports” of the crash and “it looks like it may be a terrible tragedy. Right now we are working to determine whether there were American citizens on board. That is our first priority.”
After glossing-over the tragedy that reportedly took the lives of 23 Americans, Obama shifted his tempo to “hoot-and-holler” mode and began with his all-too-typical, faux-folksy charm by telling the crowd, “It is great to be in the state that gave us Joe Biden!”
With the blasting of MH17 from the sky by what Ukraine claims to be Russian separatists, it’s clear that Obama’s foreign policy of appeasement mixed with voice-cracking threats of sanctions is not cutting it.
In fact, just last month, Obama proudly proclaimed that with Russia on the warpath, with the U.S.-funded Hamas terrorist organization threatening annihilation of Israel and ISIS dominating Iraq, “The world is less violent than it has ever been.”
What this administration will do in the face of this outrage remains to be seen, but it’s clear that this might be a dramatic ratcheting of Russian-American tensions.

It’s the first case of Pneumonic Plague seen in the state since 2004, said Jennifer House, a spokeswoman for the department. The man may have been exposed in Adams County near Denver, the department said.
