EDITOR’S NOTE: Mohamed Elibiary is just one of the many hardcore, radical, Muslim Brotherhood connected Islamists that president Barack Obama has filled the White House with. Elibiary was positioned, of all places, in sensitive areas in Homeland Security. When news of his deep connection with the Muslim Brotherhood leaked out, Obama was forced to remove him. But those connections where well known prior to his appointment, and in fact was the reason for his appointment. Obama’s greatest accomplishment, when all is said and done, may well be that he successfully implemented the Islamization of America.

In 2011, Barack Obama appointed Elibiary, a well known member of the Muslim Brotherhood, to a key position in our Department of Homeland Security. Oh……you didn’t know that? Sorry to be the one to break that news to you. And he’s not the only one. Obama has appointed numerous members of the MB to very sensitive positions in our government.

Back in September of 2014, Mohamed Elibiary was abruptly relieved of his duties at the Department of Homeland Security. There was speculation that he had leaked information to the Brotherhood, but nothing was confirmed. Where he is now and what he is doing should shock and alarm all of us.

I actually had brief conversations with Mr. Elibiary on Twitter. I know — not smart. I guess I had a brief lapse in judgment. When our president had the secret meeting in the White House with Muslim Brotherhood buddies, and the press was banned, I wrote to Mohamed and asked how the meeting went, since none of the American people knew.

He tweeted back that it went well, and they have scheduled many more meetings. He is very arrogant. He knows I’m a Jew and a Christian.

I really made him mad one day when I said that the Egyptian people ousted Morsi (Leader of the Muslim Brotherhood) because they didn’t want sharia law. He unloaded on me that it wasn’t true, and blamed the whole thing on the Egyptian military.

His Twitter name is Texas Muslim Republican. I made a comment to him one day about the name being ludicrous. He also called Bobby Jindal a “Bottom Feeder”, which made me angry. He started following me that day. That gave me the creeps and I blocked him.

Patrick Poole of the PJ Tattler was kind enough to round up a wide range of Elibiary’s abuses in a recent article.

Elibiary admitted that his mentor and long-time friend was none other than Hamas terrorist leader Shukri Abu Baker, who is currently serving a 65-year prison sentence. In 2003, Elibiary was listed as a board member for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) Dallas chapter, which was founded by now-convicted Hamas operative Ghassan Elashi.

In 2008, federal prosecutors declared in a federal court brief that “from its founding by Muslim Brotherhood leaders, CAIR conspired with other affiliates of the Muslim Brotherhood to support terrorists.”

In Dec 2004, Elibiary was a featured speaker at a Dallas rally honoring the Ayatollah Khomeini as a “Great Islamic Visionary,” an event the Dallas Morning News called a “disgrace.”

Immediately after the Fort Hood massacre in November 2009, Dallas Morning News editor Rod Dreher recounted Elibiary’s strident defense of jihadist ideologue Sayyid Qutb, whom the 9/11 Commission identified as the chief architect of Al-Qaeda’s ideology.

In April 2010, he published an op-ed at Fox News pleading with the Obama administration to not kill senior Al-Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki. In June 2010, he attacked the Supreme Court after they upheld the material support for terrorism statute in an op-ed for the Dallas Morning News.

In June 2011, the IRS revoked the 501c3 tax-exempt status of Elibiary’s Freedom and Justice Foundation forfailing to file the required IRS Form 990s over a period of several years, documents which would reveal the source of his organization’s funding.

In October 2011, I reported exclusively here at PJ Media that Elibiary had downloaded sensitive documents by the Texas Dept. of Public Safety from a secure DHS database, and then unsuccessfully tried to shop them to the media claiming then-Gov. Rick Perry was running an “Islamophobic” operation. Despite multiple claims by top DHS officials that an internal investigation exonerated Elibiary, in Sept 2013 DHS admitted in response to the Judicial Watch FOIA request that no records related to any internal investigation existed, prompting members of Congress to claim DHS was engaged in a cover-up. Texas DPS, having conducted their own investigation, severed their relationship with Elibiary.

After 30 million Egyptians took to the streets to remove Muslim Brotherhood president Mohamed Morsi, leading to his ouster, Elibiary added a Muslim Brotherhood logo to his Twitter avatar in solidarity with the extremist Islamic group.

In November 2013, Elibiary took to Twitter to announce that the U.S. was a shariah-compliant Islamic country.

Elibiary continued his hateful focus on the GOP with a recent attack on Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal (R-LA) by calling him a “bottom feeder” who was appealing to southern segregationists (as if these people actually exist in a great number – he also seems to forget that the segregationists were almost exclusively DEMOCRATS).

This isn’t Elibiary’s first hateful tweet aimed at Christian Republicans either. He’s made bigoted comments toward Christians a sort of sport – where each new tweet attempts to “out-bigot” the one before it.

As you can see from the above tweet, Elibiary seems to harbor a special animosity for Coptic Christians. But the next tweet takes that hate to a whole new level – one where he advocates for a group of people who would wipe the Copts from the earth if they could.

Perhaps the most disgusting thing that Elibiary has ever tweeted was this horrible “defense” of the Muslim Brotherhood from back in April of 2014. Elibiary actually said that the only time Egyptians enjoyed freedom and democracy was under the rule of the Muslim Brotherhood… what he neglected to mention was that during their rule, the Brotherhood was persecuting and slaughtering Christians (primarily Coptic Christians)!

Elibiary’s defense of the Muslim Brotherhood is grotesque, but again, it’s just par for the Obama administration’s course. If Obama and his flacks are tired of being called Muslim sympathizers, then perhaps it’s time that they stop employing people who openly advocate for terrorist groups like the Muslim Brotherhood while simultaneously turning their bigoted and hateful tongues on American Christians.”

OBAMA ADVISER REASSERTS U.S. IS AN ‘ISLAMIC COUNTRY’

“Mohamed Elibiary is a senior member of the Department of Homeland Security Advisory Council. According to a report by the Center for Security Policy, Elibiary also supports brokering a U.S. partnership with the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist group.” -Breitbart

Drew Zahn, WND — An Obama adviser who ruffled feathers last year claiming the U.S. is “an Islamic country with and Islamically compliant constitution” is reportedly at it again.

Mohamed Elibiary is a senior fellow of Obama’s Department of Homeland Security Advisory Council.

According to a report from the Investigative Project on Terrorism, or IPT, Elibiary revisited his October 2013 tweet in which he claimed the U.S. was an “Islamic country,” explaining in another tweet Saturday (reportedly since deleted), “I said America was an Islamic country not a Muslim country. Pls study up on the difference b4 attacking me.”

IPT reports a source close to Elibiary explained the Homeland Security adviser meant to say that he feels there is nothing in the U.S. Constitution and the American system that runs contrary to Islam.

IPT, however, also quoted Zuhdi Jasser, president of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy, who rejected Elibiary’s claims.

“His entire attempt to repeatedly say that ‘American is Islamic’ is pure deception,” Jasser said. “In fact it is not.”

“Islamism is incompatible with liberty and is a supremacist doctrine,” Jasser continued. “In all of [Elibiary's] work, you will not find any critique of Islamism, the Islamic state, or government imposed shariah in his opinions or any admission of the deep reforms necessary for American ideals to be compatible with Islam.”

The IPT report was also noticed by former Florida Republican Congressman Allen West, who wrote a blog piece in which he also opposed Elibiary’s assessment of America’s Islamic compliance.

“I hate to disagree with this fella, but he fails to understand that America is a Constitutional Republic,” West wrote. “And how he comes up with the conclusion that our U.S. Constitution is ‘Islamically compliant’ is beyond comprehension – considering Islamic law is rooted in the practice called Sharia rooted in the Koran. That is clearly a violation of our establishment of religion clause.”

Indeed, in nations where Islamic Shariah law has been implemented, Christians, Jews and women in particular have suffered discrimination, violence and court-supported persecution – a legal system in clear contradiction not only of America’s religious freedoms, but also of several other constitutional rights.

“This, ladies and gentlemen, is how it begins. Islamists infiltrate our governing systems and deceive us with lies, making us believe there is no true delineation in our fundamental beliefs,” West continued. “What I find disturbing [but] not surprising is this man is allowed to have a position in the most important domestic security government agency, our Department of Homeland Security.”

Elibiary, in fact, has a long record of reportedly working with those whose brand of Islam strays into the conquering, oppressive form of Islamism.

According to Judicial Watch Elibiary admits he’s a longtime friend of self-described Islamist Shukri Abu Baker, convicted in 2008 of financing the terrorist organization Hamas through his U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity, the Holy Land Foundation. Judicial Watch reports Elibiary donated to the Holy Land Foundation monthly until it was shut down by the U.S. government and defends Baker, depicting his prosecution as a case of political persecution.

According to a Breitbart report, Elibiary was a speaker in 2004 at an event called “A Tribute to the Great Islamic Visionary,” which honored the ruthless, theocratic Iranian Ayatollah Khomeini, and in 2006, Elibiary penned an op-ed stating that everyone should read Sayyid Qutb, a man widely seen as the founder of radical Islamic groups like al-Qaida and the Muslim Brotherhood.

Elibiary wrote, “I’d recommend everyone read Qutb, but read him with an eye to improving America not just to be jealous with malice in our hearts.”

Elibiary’s Twitter account, though he vehemently insists it reflects only his personal opinions and not any official government positions, has repeatedly been a source of comments that can be interpreted as sympathetic to the Islamist cause.

Earlier this month, for example, Elibiary tweeted, “As I’ve said b4 inevitable that ‘Caliphate’ returns. Choice only whether we support #EU like Muslim Union vision or not.”

This Is How It Begins

Allen West — The one thing I appreciate about Islamists is that they don’t try to rewrite their history and they tell you exactly what they believe.

Case in point: as reported by the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT), Obama Homeland Security adviser, Mohamed Elibiary, generated controversy last fall when he wrote that the U.S. Constitution was “Islamically compliant.” He returned to the top last Saturday morning with a Twitter post: “…I said America was an Islamic country, not a Muslim country. Pls study up on the difference b4 attacking me.” Last we checked, that post appeared to have been deleted from Elibiary’s Twitter feed.

IPT wrote to him asking for clarification, but Elibiary declined to explain. They found the tweets puzzling, considering there were only 2.6 million Muslims in the U.S. as of 2010, which represents less than .2 percent of the world’s 1.6 billion Muslims.

It’s not puzzling to me because this is how it happens, with simple statements made to test the waters. I hate to disagree with this fella but he fails to understand that America is a Constitutional Republic.

And how he comes up with the conclusion that our U.S. Constitution is “Islamically compliant” is beyond comprehension — considering Islamic law is rooted in the practice called Sharia rooted in the Koran. That is clearly a violation of our establishment of religion clause – but it’s funny — I don’t hear liberal progressives chiming in about separation of church and state on that one.

And it is not just that Islamists, like Mohamed Elibiary, seek to minimize the meaning of our Constitution — they also seek to hijack the Black Civil Rights movement. Elibiary also compared criticism of Islamism, or political Islam, with “segregation era standards,” and invoked the memory of the “separate & unequal doctrine” that marked that era. Gee, that sounds familier. It’s the same tactic used by the radical gay rights movement. I’m not aware that “Muslim” is a race.

Elibiary also predicted that conservatives would evolve on the foreign policy front to accept a “Muslim majority world.” Hate to tell him but that dog don’t hunt. It’s quite disturbing that the statement infers Elibiary is accepting of the ISIS army and its goal to establish an Islamic caliphate.

What I find disturbing by not surprising is this man is allowed to have a position in the most important domestic security government agency, our Department of Homeland Security. Is there any doubt as to what Mr. Mohamed Elibiary is advising?
