Clarke is a lifelong resident of the City of Milwaukee and in March 2002 was appointed Sheriff by Governor Scott McCallum, and eight months later was elected to his first four-year term, earning 64%of the vote. Sheriff Clarke is now in his third term, having been re-elected in November 2006 and 2010, increasing his victory margins to 73% and 74%.

Clarke graduated summa cum laude from Concordia University Wisconsin with a degree in Criminal Justice Management, and in May 2003, Concordia honored him with their Alumnus of the Year Award. Sheriff Clarke also is a graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. This prestigious school trains law enforcement executives from all over the world, and provides management and leadership instruction. In July 2004, he completed the intensive three-week Program for Senior Executives in State and Local Government, at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Sheriff Clarke was honored in May 2013, with the Sheriff of the Year Award from the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association for, “demonstrating true leadership and courage. . . staying true to his oath, true to his badge, and true to the people he has promised to serve and protect.”

Originally, we were told that Wilson shot Brown from behind, after pulling over the “gentle giant” for walking in the middle of the street – a situation President Obama would later term “walking while black.” Supposedly, Wilson pulled the 6’5”, 289-lb. Brown through his driver’s side window, but Brown escaped and ran away from this mad emissary of police brutality. Wilson then allegedly shot the fleeing Brown from behind, at which point Brown turned around, raised his hands in the universal sign of surrender, and perished in a hail of bullets.

BREAKING: Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel
To Resign Amid Pressure From Obama

By Jennifer — The New York Times is reporting that Chuck Hagel, the Secretary of Defense in Barack Obama’s Cabinet, will resign today. The announcement will reportedly be made by Obama at 11:10 am ET in the State Dining Room after two weeks of the two discussing Hagel’s future in the last two years of Obama’s presidency.

Hagel, who was just nominated to the Defense Secretary position in January 2013 and confirmed the next month, has been described as the lone Republican in the Obama Cabinet. However, Trevor Loudon had this to say following Hagel’s nomination “Chuck Hagel may well be conservative on some issues. However, when it comes to foreign policy and defense, he is right in line with of the most extreme leftist, anti-American elements in the country.”

While Hagel is said to have been precisely the type of Defense Secretary Obama was seeking, someone who was not a high profile person, he reportedly failed to break the inner circle of Obama’s closest confidantes and loyalists. He often waited to share his thoughts and ideas with Obama in a one-on-one situation after meetings ended and everyone else was gone.

In the past, Hagel has come under fire for his anti-Semitic statements. In fact, his anti-Semitism was a major concern for some opposed to his appointment to Defense Secretary. Those statements did not draw the ire of Obama. What did, however, was Hagel’s statement earlier this year after Obama described ISIS as a “JV team.” Contradicting Obama, Hagel described ISIS as “an imminent threat to every interest we have.”

The Times  added, “His removal appears to be an effort by the White House to show that it is sensitive to critics who have pointed to stumbles in the government’s early response to several national security issues, including the Ebola crisis and the threat posed by the Islamic State.”

Business Insider  reports that “senior defense officials” stated anonymously that Hagel was being forced to resign because the Obama White House “had lost confidence in his ability to carry out his role at the Pentagon.”

While CBS News  reports that the decision for Hagel’s resignation was a mutual one between him and Obama, CBS News National Security Correspondent David Martin reports that Hagel was “fed up with micromanagement from the White House.”

By Greg Campbell— It seems the left is finally starting to realize the danger of setting a precedent that lawlessness is okay.

After Republicans regained control of the Senate, liberal pundits began suddenly regretting their support for Harry Reid’s despotism as soon, Republican Mitch McConnell will be calling the shots in the Senate and all those filibuster reforms and dirty tricks may come back to haunt the Democrats.

Now, the folks at The Washington Post have pieced-together the danger of having a president run amok: doing so gives his successor license to do the same.

And much to their terror, they worry about what President Cruz might do if given the opportunity to rule unilaterally as Emperor Obama has.

Of course, unlike Obama, Ted Cruz has maintained a deep reverence for law and order. Though a Cruz Administration would likely play hardball with those who have decimated our economy, it’s safe to say that the strict constitutionalist would take his oath of office far more seriously than Obama has.

Still, The Washington Post writes of an oh-so-horrifying, not-so-distant future:
DEMOCRATS URGING President Obama to “go big” in his executive order on immigration might pause to consider the following scenario:

 It is 2017. Newly elected President Ted Cruz (R) insists he has won a mandate to repeal Obamacare. The Senate, narrowly back in Democratic hands, disagrees. Mr. Cruz instructs the Internal Revenue Service not to collect a fine from anyone who opts out of the individual mandate to buy health insurance, thereby neutering a key element of the program. It is a matter of prosecutorial discretion, Mr. Cruz explains; tax cheats are defrauding the government of billions, and he wants the IRS to concentrate on them. Of course, he is willing to modify his order as soon as Congress agrees to fix what he considers a “broken” health system.

 That is not a perfect analogy to Mr. Obama’s proposed action on immigration. But it captures the unilateral spirit that Mr. Obama seems to have embraced since Republicans swept to victory in the midterm elections. He is vowing to go it alone on immigration. On Iran, he is reportedly designing an agreement that he need not bring to Congress. He already has gone that route on climate change with China.
There is, however, a tremendous difference in the aforementioned situation: the Constitution does not charge the president or any branch of the government with forcing people to buy a product. It does however, require the federal government to maintain national sovereignty.

With this in mind, an executive order clarifying that the IRS will no longer be charged with enforcing Obamacare would be lawful while an executive order granting amnesty to millions of criminals who have violated our national sovereignty is definitely not.

What appears amazing is that after six long years, the editorial board of one of the most-prestigious newspapers in the world is one of the few on the left who has finally come to barely understand the dangers represented in the “slippery-slope” argument.

Yes- having a favorable political agenda fast-tracked via brash rhetoric and illegal means is great in the short term; however, setting a precedent that a president may behave as a king only dismantles the political system upon which our republic is based and allows for the next president to behave as a tyrant as well.

Either we have a system of government or we do not; the ends do not justify the means and it’s alarming that after so long, the left is only beginning to question the wisdom of supporting a despot.
