I first heard about Barack Obama from my two sons, who had heard him speak at the DNC in 2004. I had listened to some of his speech, but my sons watched the entire thing. My boys had never shown any interest in politics, so it did surprise me when they spoke of this “amazing guy” they had just heard make a speech. They went on and on about him.

In 2008, during the primary campaign, I noticed that there was something about the way that Mr. Obama spoke; something different, but I couldn’t put my finger on it. Whatever it was that made me take notice, only intensified during the pre-election speeches.

I remember telling my husband that there was something that wasn’t normal about the way he talked. It became so oppressive to me, that I had to leave the room or turn off the TV. I knew that I did not like the man, and that I categorically disagreed with him, but not being able to even hear him was bizarre.

It absolutely shocked me when one of my sons told me that he was driving up to Philadelphia to see Obama in person. I felt sick. My children knew how I felt about this man, and they knew that his close ties to Planned Parenthood was a major factor in my dislike of him. But my son was determined to see him. I prayed that the Lord would break this power that Obama had over my boys. I had no idea that there really was a power at work, and it had to do with his voice.

I watched a video back in 2008 which exposed what Obama was doing to the masses during his speeches. I think that the Lord showed me clearly that something was happening, when I could not listen to him. The video was about an article by AAPS – Association for American Physicians and Surgeons.

AAPS has since taken the article down, no doubt as a result of pressure from Obama’s minions. But as nothing is ever lost on the Internet, we have it here to show you right now. It will be well worth your time to view it and consider what’s being said....

Wasserman Schultz gave her response to CNN:

“Here’s an answer. I support letting women and their doctors make this decision without government getting involved. Period. End of story. Now your turn, Senator Paul. We know you want to allow government officials like yourself to make this decision for women –– but do you stand by your opposition to any exceptions, even when it comes to rape, incest, or life of the mother? Fellowship of the Minds — Yahoo: Hillary Clinton is moving toward announcing her candidacy for president of the United States likely on Sunday, according to Democrats familiar with her plans.

Her announcement will come via social media, including a video message, they say. Early state visits could come as soon as next week with Iowa the most likely first stop.

Clinton’s all-but-certain 2016 presidential bid marks the second time she has tried to become the first female to win the White House. After her defeat at the hands of Barack Obama in 2008, Clinton firmly said “no” when asked whether she would ever run for president again. But, since then, her position has evolved.

In recent months, Clinton has been gearing up for her campaign. Behind the scenes, she has hired a robust team, including many of President Obama’s former advisers and strategists. Her team also recently signed a lease for a new office space in Brooklyn, New York, which will serve has her campaign headquarters.

She will enter the race as the clear front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination, and is leading all her possible Republican opponents in early polls.

A recent ABC News-Washington Post poll showed Clinton ahead of potential Republican candidate, Jeb Bush, by a 54-to-40 percent margin in a prospective match-up, with even bigger leads against Sen. Ted Cruz, Gov. Scott Walker and Sen. Marco Rubio.

RON PAUL: “RECKLESS AND IMMORAL” FOR U.S. TO INTERVENE IN SYRIA

Alex Pappas, The Daily Caller — As Congress prepares to vote on military action in Syria, former Texas Rep. Ron Paul said Sunday that it would be “reckless and immoral” for the United States to intervene in the country’s civil war.

“President Obama announced this weekend that he has decided to use military force against Syria and would seek authorization from Congress when it returned from its August break,” Paul wrote in a weekly column posted Sunday on the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity website. “Every Member ought to vote against this reckless and immoral use of the US military.”

Obama is calling for U.S. military action in response to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s apparent use of chemical weapons in Syria’s civil war.

Paul — a former presidential candidate with an avid following of libertarians — strongly disagreed with Obama’s suggestion that the alleged use of chemical weapons on the people of Syria has national security implications for the U.S.

Those in favor of strikes have argued that it is important to send a signal to the world — especially to places like Iran and North Korea — that the U.S. will not put up with the use of weapons of mass destruction.

“I disagree with the idea that every conflict, every dictator, and every insurgency everywhere in the world is somehow critical to our national security,” Paul said. “That is the thinking of an empire, not a republic. It is the kind of thinking that this president shares with his predecessor and it is bankrupting us and destroying our liberties here at home.”

Paul acknowledged that “any chemical attack, particularly one that kills civilians, is horrible and horrendous,” saying that “all deaths in war and violence are terrible and should be condemned.”

“But why are a few hundred killed by chemical attack any worse or more deserving of US bombs than the 100,000 already killed in the conflict?” Paul asked.

He added: “For that matter, why are the few hundred civilians killed in Syria by a chemical weapon any worse than the 2,000-3,000 who have been killed by Obama’s drone strikes in Pakistan? Does it really make a difference whether a civilian is killed by poison gas or by drone missile or dull knife?”

Paul’s son, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, asserted Sunday that he too is against military intervention in Syria. » Full Article
