ObamaCare Architect And MIT Professor Jonathan Gruber’s Remarks About The “Stupidity” Of The American Voter And The Passage Of ObamaCare Is Bad Enough
NTEB News Desk — What is even more disturbing are his comments about the bill’s deliberate lack of transparency. White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest’s denials Thursday were also absurd.
The arrogance and condescension that has too often characterized the Obama administration’s policies have put the American public in the unfortunate position of having to learn about the health care changes the hard way, on their own.
Here are three crucial changes that the president clearly didn’t want you to know about:
1. HUGE DEFICITS AND NEW TAXES. According to the Congressional Budget Office, the latest projections for the net cost of ObamaCare over the next ten years are
just over $1.4 trillion. Whereas President Obama promised in 2009 that it would
cost less than $1 trillion over ten years. In order to partially pay for this, ObamaCare has added more than
20 new taxes totaling over $500 billion.
2. BUREAUCRACY. Speaking of Orwellian politics, ObamaCare includes
159 new boards and agencies to restrict and govern your health care choices.
3. STILL MORE BUREAUCRACY. Dysfunctional state exchanges with high deductible policies, narrow doctor networks,
including federally-run exchanges in 36 states which may not be allowable under the law (SCOTUS currently considering this case).
Here are three new things coming up in 2015 that you aren’t going to like:
1. PENALTIES WILL RISE – INDIVIDUAL MANDATE. In 2014, people are facing a penalty of $95 per person or 1% of income.
In 2015, the penalty will more than triple to $325 per person or 2% of income, whichever is higher.
If an American failed to get coverage this year, the penalty will be
taken out of their tax refund in early 2015.
2. SERIOUS RATE HIKES FOR CHEAPER OBAMACARE PLANS. According to Investor’s Business Daily, the lowest cost bronze plan will increase an average of 7 % in many cases, the lowest cost silver plan by 9%, and the lowest priced catastrophic policy will climb 18 percent on average.
Double digit rate hikes are anticipated in several southern and Midwestern states including
Kansas, Iowa, Louisiana, North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Iowa, and Virginia.Subsidies will continue to be a
huge part of the program. In 2014, subsidies provided ¾ of the premiums for the federally-run exchanges.
3. EMPLOYER MANDATE WILL TAKE EFFECT. After being delayed for a year, large businesses (100 or more employees in 2015, 50 or more in 2016)
will be required to offer affordable (and subsidized) health plans to at least 70 percent of their full time employees or face a $2,000-$3,000 penalty
per employee.
This mandate will lead to fewer full time employees being hired.
The latest Kaiser Family Foundation poll in July revealed that 53 percent of those surveyed had an
unfavorable view of ObamaCare.

You’ve been a great friend for the last six years and, to express our appreciation, we’d like to acknowledge some of your many helpful actions:
1) In 2009, our presidential election results were so dubious that millions of brave, pro-democracy protesters risked their lives to demonstrate throughout our country. When our Basij paramilitary force brutalized them,
you kept your response irrelevantly mild for the sake of “engaging” us. That surely helped Iranians understand the risks of protesting our “free” election of 2012 (
involving our eight handpicked candidates). It was indeed a very orderly rubberstamp.
2) After eight years of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, we KNEW you’d fall for the smiles of his successor, President Hassan Rouhani!
Human rights abuses have actually worsened under his rule and his polished charm only makes him better at duping the world into acquiescing to our nukes, so we LOVE how you’ve overlooked these facts.
7) Speaking of enforcing red lines, we LOVE how you backed off yours, after our Syrian buddy, Basher Assad, used chemical weapons on his own people. That was a very helpful signal to everyone that we need not take your threats too seriously (contrary to those scary words you issued in 2012 about how stopping our nukes militarily was still an option, unlike containment, and how
you don’t bluff). But we understood back then that you were trying to get re-elected, so we didn’t take it personally.
12) It’s so cute of you to write us these
letters asking for help against ISIS and showing us how desperately you want a nuclear deal. All we had to do was
hint at an ISIS-for-nukes exchange and you got so excited!
And after everyone sees the killer deal that you’re giving us, the world’s bad actors will line up to talk to you, with demands of their own that you can try to satisfy in the hope that they’ll stop opposing your national interests so much.
Overall, we appreciate you even more than we did President Carter, because getting nukes is WAY COOLER than holding 52 American diplomats and citizens hostage for 444 days.

There is a reason for that.
We just had an election, and the Obama administration obviously put out the word to the media over the summer to STOP talking about this story. It was becoming bad politics.
Have you heard much about it lately? I didn’t think so.
But, the story has NOT gone away; no, it has just gone underground. ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN have filed it away with the IRS, Gruber, and the dead VA veterans. Until today.
The truth is the Obama administration is granting refugee status to migrant children who are still in other countries that do not share a border with the United States. That means any child that has relatives in the U.S. can claim refugee status and get a residency permit and naturalization five years later.
The presidents of the Central American countries involved said today, tongue in cheek, that they will
work to stem the flow of migrant children.
Yeah, right. This means a big green flashing sign will be posted on the southern border — COME GET YOUR FREE EVERYTHING AND VOTE DEMOCRAT!
ABC reports today: U.S. officials said that children deemed refugees will be able to work immediately upon arrival in the U.S., opt for permanent residency the following year and for naturalization five years later. They did not say how long the process of receiving refugee status will take.
It gets better. The children don’t have to even make the trek through Mexico to the U.S. southern border anymore. No, America is going to send planes to Central America to directly fly them here!
I have nothing against legal immigration as it is a positive for America and always has been. But this is ludicrous. And, it’s illegal and wrong.
My fear is that this is just one of the many steps King Obama is going to take to finish the job of radically changing America during his term in office. In twenty years, we will not recognize this country.
The English tradition of the rule of law will be gone. The Constitution will be gone–and along with it the system of checks and balances.
This has all happened before, you know.
The Roman republic ceased to exist as well. The Roman Senate was relegated to the sidelines.
They devalued their currency and shrank their military. The emperor assumed all power.
We all know how that turned out.

Of course, if we had an objective media, this very well might hurt the Obamas’ credibility when discussing the pressing issue of lessening the gap between the rich and the poor. It’s hard to make that case when one is privileged to private concerts, lavish dinners and gifts of jewelry from heads of state.

By Heather Clark — (WASHINGTON) A woman who proclaimed the name of Jesus Christ during the first-ever Islamic Jumaa prayer gathering at Washington’s National Cathedral was ejected from the building on Friday.
“Jesus Christ died on that cross over there,” the unidentified woman declared as she stood in the front of the room. “He is the reason why we are to worship only Him. Jesus Christ is our lord and savior!”
A man nearby immediately approached her and attempted to reach for her arm, but she pulled away.
“We have built, and allowed you here in mosques across this country,” she continued. “Why can’t you worship in your mosque, and leave our churches alone?”
Another man approached as she was speaking and began to escort her out.
According to reports, the woman made the declaration immediately following the opening announcements that commenced this afternoon.
As previously reported, while the national cathedral has hosted interfaith gatherings in the past, the Islamic Jumaa prayers presented today at the historic Episcopalian site were the first of its kind. The idea for the invitation originated during the planning stage for the memorial service for African apartheid leader Nelson Mandela as talks between the cathedral’s liturgical director, Gina Campbell, and South African Ambassador Ebrahim Rasool took place.
The cathedral stated earlier this week that the goal of the event is to facilitate greater acceptance between Christians and Muslims, calling the Islamic Jumaa prayers at the house of worship a “powerful symbolic gesture.”
“Leaders believe offering Muslim prayers at the Christian cathedral shows more than hospitality,” representatives for the National Cathedral wrote in a press release about the matter. “It demonstrates an appreciation of one another’s prayer traditions and is a powerful symbolic gesture toward a deeper relationship between the two Abrahamic traditions.”

“This is a dramatic moment in the world and in Muslim-Christian relations,” Rasool added. “This needs to be a world in which all are free to believe and practice and in which we avoid bigotry, Islamaphobia, racism, anti-Semitism, and anti-Christianity and to embrace our humanity and to embrace faith.”
In addition to Campbell and Rasool, Masjid Muhammad of The Nation’s Mosque, representatives from the All Dulles Area Muslim Society, Council on American-Islamic Relations, Islamic Society of North America and Muslim Public Affairs Council were all in attendance. The event was also facilitated so that Muslims would face Mecca during the Jumaa prayers.
Washington’s National Cathedral has traditionally been recognized as the cathedral of the presidents, being used for inaugural-based prayer services for the past 106 years. It has also hosted the funeral services for Presidents Ronald Reagan, Gerald Ford and Dwight Eisenhower, and was dubbed the “National House of Prayer” by the U.S. Congress.
As previously reported, last year, over two thousand people joined Barack Obama and Joseph Biden for an interfaith service surrounding the president’s re-inauguration. The service included a variety of guests from a number of religions, who presented Christian, Catholic, Muslim, Sikh and Jewish prayers for Obama.
Leaders of the National Cathedral have also come out in support of same-sex “marriage,” and have opened the facility to be used for “gay marriages.”...

Rev. Gary Hall, dean of the Cathedral, spoke of St. Benedict, whom he said believed equally in the importance of prayer and hospitality. Marvelling at the sounds of Arabic prayers, which he called “a beautiful sacred language in a beautiful sacred space,” Hall said he hopes the service would serve as a beginning for future efforts to work together for good.
Rashid Makhdoom, a retired engineer from Potomac, said he believes the message and symbolism of the event would “reverberate throughout the world.
It should be a lesson for Muslims everywhere that we and Christians are all one,” he said.
