Pastor Andrew Russell preaches on Colossians 1:1-2 and gives an introduction to Paul’s letter to the Colossians. Paul was at this time in prison at Rome and he wrote to a church he never visited. There were two major problems he had to address.
1. There were the Judaizers who taught that you need Christ and the rituals of the law.
2. The false doctrine of Gnosticism was entering the church because the Colossians forgot that Jesus plus nothing = everything.
