In 2 Thessolonians 2:3, the Bible tells us that there will be a great falling away from the faith in the last days. This falling away is called “apostasy” in grk-apostasia . Many bible-believing Christians are not aware of apostasy; the state of falling away from the faith that was once known, understood, and experienced as the believer. Many fall prey to apostasy because of the false doctrines that are being taught right from the pulpit in many churches, especially in America. THINGS ARE so convoluted in the Middle East that it’s almost impossible to figure out who is fighting who. The Sunnis and the Shias hate each other…mostly. The U.S. opposes Iranian-backed rebels in Yemen, but supports Iranian-backed militias in Iraq. ISIS apparently wants to kill everybody, including fellow Muslims, who are not part of ISIS.
