The following is a brief response to the wave of anti-Jewish terror now engulfing Israel and how Palestinian society is relating to it. This post is important because of who wrote it. It was penned by “Matthew”, our Palestinian Christian brother whose true identity must be concealed for obvious security reasons.

The original title of “Matthew’s” article as submitted to Israel Today was “When News Becomes Lies”

“Matthew” via Israel Today — Perhaps you were unable to discern what I want to say from the title (“When News Becomes Lies”). To understand my articles and my perspective, you need to know a little about me and my background.

I am a young Palestinian man, living in the Palestinian-controlled territories. Until recently, I hated Israel and the Jews as much as anyone could. I used to rejoice every time I heard that Jews had been killed.

But God changed my heart, and through the love of Christ, I now love the Jewish people. I have written more extensively about this transformation in previous articles (see the June 2015 issue of Israel Today, page 22).

Over the past week, more than nine terror attacks have been carried out by Palestinian terrorists against Israelis. This wave of terror began just after Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas delivered his speech before the United Nations.

My heart bled when I heard the terrible news of the first attack, in which Palestinian terrorists assaulted an Israeli family and murdered the parents in front of their young children.

My sorrow was deep and real, but the thing that shocked me most was the lack of any condemnation of this barbaric crime from the Palestinian side. In fact, most people here rejoice in the murder of Jews, and celebrated this deadly attack.

But their reaction was much different when Israel responded by killing the terrorist responsible. Suddenly, Palestinians began demanding justice against the “racist” Israelis.

And then the news begins to lie to the people, who are told that these terrorists who were shot by the Israelis weren’t really trying to stab anyone. They are told that the Israelis invented stories about the attacks, that the Palestinians who were shot weren’t really armed, and that the Jews killed them simply for being Arabs.

The media’s publishing of these false accounts sadly transforms them into a kind of pseudo truth. Please do not allow such lies to influence your thinking. Use your brain and seek out true justice.

I know that my words are simple. I am just one person who has for years been living under these chains of hatred and lies. But God set me free, and I feel a calling to share the truth with the world.

Your father’s Six O’Clock News of yesteryear has been replaced by 6 second updates via Twitter and Facebook. Something that happened 3 hours ago has already begun to be forgotten.

But we uncovered something the other day that is truly eye-opening: proof that the main stream news media of Fox, CNN, NBC, ABC, and all the others just might be churning out “news” that is being crafted by a single, central content creation faction. A new world order of aligned thought, and programmed behavior. The very thing that George Orwell predicted in “1984”. You are not watching a news program, but you are being programmed to think, act and respond according to the wishes of the shadow government pulling the strings behind the curtain.

The whole point, it seems, of main stream media news broadcasts, is to get you on edge and keep you there. Making you terrified of driving on “black ice”, getting cervical cancer, being attacked by domestic terrorists, or any number of the stories contained in their duplicate, endless loops. A unified message of gloom and doom delivered by the talking heads, written by a single propaganda source. Do all the news stories on whatever station we chose to watch all come from a single source? Could that even be possible?

Dubious Prediction Isn’t Even Expected...
For 1,000 Years

Paul Joseph Watson, Infowars.com — Scaremongering headlines about the “collapse” of the the Antarctic ice sheet omitted the fact that such an event isn’t predicted to happen for as much as 1,000 years, underscoring once again how the mass media grossly exaggerates the threat posed by global warming.

On Monday, the Guardian reported that the “Western Antarctic ice sheet collapse has already begun,” prompting the likes of NBC News, the New York Times, the LA Times and CNN to hastily regurgitate the alarmism.

It isn’t until the third paragraph of the Guardian article that the true context of the story becomes clear, when Suzanne Goldenberg acknowledges that the potential loss of the ice sheet along with a 13ft sea level rise “is still several centuries off, and potentially up to 1,000 years away.”

The article also failed to mention that Antarctic sea ice expanded to record levels for April, growing by more than 110,000sq km a day last month to nine million square kilometers.

Even New York Times environmental writer Andy Revkin, a proponent of the man-made global warming theory, slammed the “awful misuse” of the word “collapse” in the headline of the story.

Such predictions also routinely fail to include the proviso that climate models have proven to be spectacularly wrong on numerous occasions in the past.

In December 2008, Al Gore claimed that the “entire north polar ice cap will be gone in 5 years,” a forecast proven embarrassingly inept by reality.

In 2007 BBC News, citing climate scientists, also predicted that Arctic summers would be “ice free” by 2013. What actually happened was that Arctic ice grew by a mammoth 533,000 square miles in a year from August 2012 to August 2013.

Back in January, Obama science czar John P. Holdren dubiously claimed that the ‘polar vortex’ which caused record low temperatures across many areas of the United States this past winter was caused by global warming, contradicting the United Nations IPCC, which in its 2007 report stated there was, “likely to be a decline in the frequency of cold air outbreaks… in [northern hemisphere] winter in most areas.”

Last year, climate scientists were forced to admit that computer models of predicted temperature increases calculated in 2007 were off by 75%. Figures show that there has been no global warming for over 17 years.

As agenda-driven climate scientists continue to blame every weather pattern on man-made global warming for political purposes, the real climate threat is likely to emerge out of the fact that sunspot activity is at its lowest for 100 years, which researchers warn will lead to plunging temperatures and the onset of a new mini ice age. » Full Article
