PALESTINIAN ATTACKS
ALMOST DAILY OCCURENCE

“Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image.” ~ Genesis 9:6

BY ABRA FORMAN - BREAKING ISRAEL NEWS (BIN)
Five Israelis were injured in two separate terror attacks in Judea and Samaria on Sunday morning. A terrorist rammed his car into a hitchhiking post at the Tapuach Junction, causing injuries to four Israeli civilians, two serious, one moderate, and one light. Two hours later, a female Palestinian terrorist stabbed a civilian security guard outside of the city of Beitar Illit, which is located a short distance from Jerusalem, moderately injuring him.

The earlier attack took place when a driver approached a group of people waiting at the Tapuach Junction for a bus and accelerated his car into the crowd. Two Israeli men in their twenties were seriously injured and hospitalized in stable condition. A pregnant woman in her twenties was injured lightly, and a fourth Israeli sustained light to moderate wounds after being struck by gunfire from a police officer targeting the driver of the car.

The driver, a 22-year-old Palestinian man from Ramallah, was shot and killed by Border Police forces at the junction.

Another attack followed two hours later, when a 22-year-old Palestinian woman from Bethlehem, dressed in a traditional black hijab, approached a security guard at his post just outside Beitar Illit and attempted to stab him. The woman’s approach had caused an emergency dispatcher to alert the guard, who stopped the woman and asked for her identification. She gave it to him and then reached her hand into her purse. As the guard looked at her ID card, she pulled a large knife out of her bag and lunged at him. He then shot her, moderately wounding her.

Security forces believe she had planned to enter the city and attack a larger group of people at a bus stop.

Terror attacks like these have become an almost daily occurrence over the past month, reaching from Israel’s main cities to small villages in Judea and Samaria.

PA LAUNCHES CAMPAIGN TO HALT JEWISH EXPANSION IN JUDEA, SAMARIA

Regarding Israeli King Omri & Ancient Capital Samaria

“And he bought the hill Samaria of Shemer for two talents of silver;
and he built on the hill, and called the name of the city which he built,
after the name of Shemer, the owner of the hill, Samaria.”

1 Kings 16:24 ~ King James Version Bible

Ahuva Balofsky, Breaking Israel News (BIN) — The Palestinian Authority (PA) is sponsoring a campaign to limit the natural growth of Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria, ahead of its lawsuit to the International Criminal Court (ICC) against Israel, Israel National News reported.

The Palestinian Organization for the Struggle Against Settlements campaign, nicknamed “advancement towards the mountains”, is placing caravans and planting trees at strategic locations, aimed at cutting off natural growth of Jewish towns in the direction of Arab villages in the area. Caravans were established on the mountains near Jamma’in and Huwara as part of the campaign.

PA official Rasan Daglas, who leads the organization in the Nablus area, told the Hamas paper Palestine on Sunday that the goal of the campaign is to demonstrate the Arab residents’ commitment to the land in the face of the “daily crimes of the occupation settlers.”

The plan is to place caravans on what Daglas called “threatened” land and strategic hilltops in order to stake their claim. More than 200 sites will be targeted by activists.

The campaign comes just two weeks before the PA is set to bring war crimes charges against Israel at the ICC for its “settlement enterprise”, claiming Israel’s activities in Judea and Samaria are illegal. This despite the 2012 Levy Report which conclusively demonstrated Israel’s legal right to build in the region, given prior agreements promising the land to the Jews and Jordan’s failure to annex the land when it controlled the region from 1948 to 1967.

Meanwhile, PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas spoke Monday to leaders of African nations, urging them to boycott Israeli products made in Judea and Samaria, reported The Times of Israel. Speaking at the 25th African Union assembly in Johannesburg, South Africa, Abbas asked Africa to follow the European Union’s lead in labelling products made in the Biblical Jewish heartland.

The EU is expected to require the labeling of products made in Judea and Samaria, the Golan Heights and East Jerusalem in the near future.

“We must boycott the settlements which were established on Arab land, contrary to international law and resolutions,” Abbas said, according to the official Palestinian Wafa news agency.

In 2013, Abbas shocked the world by announcing that he does not support a blanket boycott of Israel, but rather one that targets Judea and Samaria specifically.

“No, we do not support the boycott of Israel,” the Palestinian leader had told a group of South African reporters at the time. “But we ask everyone to boycott the products of the settlements. Because the settlements are in our territories. It is illegal.”

The BDS movement does call for a general boycott of all Israeli products and institutions, something that “the Palestinian national consensus” has supported since 2005, according to BDS founder Omar Barghouti, who spoke to the Electronic Intifada following Abbas’s comments.

HAMAS: GIVE US THE WEST BANK AND WE’LL DESTROY ISRAEL

You’ve Read The News - Now Understand It

The West Bank:
The Biblical Lands of Judea And Samaria

Ryan Jones, Israel Today — For any who are still curious why Israel doesn’t simply acquiesce to Palestinian demands for an independent state and end the conflict, Hamas once again happily provided the answer in a revealing interview with Arab media last week.

Hamas co-founder Mahmoud al-Zahar told the Ramallah-based Palestinian newspaper Al-Ayyam that if his group could “transfer what it has [in Gaza] or just a small part of it to the West Bank, we would be able to settle the battle of the final promise [to destroy Israel] with a speed that no one can imagine.”

Recently, Western power brokers, chief among them US President Barack Obama, have tried to differentiate between Hamas and the Islamic extremists of ISIS (now known simply as the Islamic State).

But al-Zahar was not shy in admitting that Hamas’ goals are largely synonymous with those of ISIS, if only on a smaller scale.

“[Some] have said Hamas wants to create an Islamic emirate in Gaza. We won’t do that, but we will build an Islamic state in Palestine, all of Palestine,” said al-Zahar.

Those pushing Israel to relinquish the West Bank (biblical Judea and Samaria) might argue that Hamas can dream all it likes, but that it is the “moderate” Palestinian Authority that would rule an independent Palestinian state.

What they forget is that Hamas has already demonstrated that democracy is no obstacle to its ambitions.

Hamas handily won the 2006 Palestinian legislative election. And when it was denied the power due it, Hamas turned its guns on the Palestinian Authority and swiftly seized control of Gaza.

Recent polls have suggested Hamas would repeat that feat in the West Bank were Israel to withdraw its forces and uproot the Jewish settlements there.

A survey conducted by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Research last week revealed that if elections were held today, Gaza-based Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh would become the new president of the Palestinian Authority, beating out current President Mahmoud Abbas by a margin of 55 percent-to–38 percent.

The poll demonstrated that support for Hamas is high in the West Bank, giving credence to al-Zahar’s threat to transfer the groups military capabilities and more severely threaten the Jewish state’s major population centers.

US CONDEMNS ISRAEL OVER LAND CLAIM IN JUDEA & SAMARIA

You who are of purer eyes than to see evil and cannot look at wrong, why do you idly look at traitors and remain silent when the wicked swallows up the man more righteous than he?”
Habakkuk 1:13

photo LeaSpeyer.jpg Lea Speyer, Breaking Israel News (BIN) — The US condemned Israel on Sunday for its plan to appropriate some 1,000 acres of land in Judea and Samaria to state control.

The land is close to where three Israeli teenagers were kidnapped and murdered by Hamas terrorists in June.

“We have long made clear our position to continued settlement activity,” a US State Department official told Reuters. “This announcement, like every other settlement announcement Israel makes…is counterproductive to Israel’s stated goal of a negotiated two-state solution with the Palestinians.”

“We urge the government of Israel to reverse this decision,” the official added.

Israel’s military announced the decision on late Sunday in a statement saying, “On the instruction of the political echelon…4,000 dunams at Gvaot is declared state land.”

Those who wish to appeal the decision have 45 days. According to Ynet, the army said that the land in questions has never had any Palestinian claim of ownership.

Upon announcement of Israel’s plan, Palestinian Authority chief negotiator Saeb Erekat called for diplomatic action against Israel. “The Israeli government is committing various crimes against the Palestinian people and their occupied land,” he told AFP.

Erekat beseeched the international community to hold Israel accountable for what he called war crimes against the Palestinian people.

“The international community should hold Israel accountable as soon as possible for its crimes and raids against our people in Gaza and the ongoing Israeli settlement activity in the West Bank and East Jerusalem,” he said.

PA President Mahmoud Abbas condemned Israel’s decision and any future construction in Judea and Samaria. Abbas spokesman Nabil Abu-Rudeineh said that the move would “bring about a further deterioration” in peace talks between Israel and the PA.

“The settlement enterprise is illegal,” he stated.

Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, Maj.-Gen. Yoav Mordechai explained that the move to appropriate the land comes “as the continuation of the political leadership’s directives given at the end of Operation Brother’s Keeper.”

The Etzion council welcomed the news and said that the new land would allow them to expand the current city of Gvaot. In a statement released by the council, the appropriation of land “paves the way for the new city of Gvaot.”

“The goal of the murderers of those three youths was to sow fear among us, to disrupt our daily lives and to call into doubt our right to the land,” the statement said. “Our response is to strengthen settlement.”
