RUSH LIMBAUGH: THE LEFT DOING EVERYTHING THEY CAN TO PREVENT BORDER CRISIS STORY FROM BEING TOLD

America’s Number One Radio Talk Show

The Party That Lives And Dies By Photo-Ops Says
“No Photos! Zilch, Zero, Nada”

Partial Transcript
RUSH: This is Neil Cavuto yesterday afternoon on the Fox News Channel, and he spoke with Mike Brown, the former FEMA director under George W. Bush. They’re talking about the immigration crisis Southern border. Brown had a good point, by the way. But I want to see if you pick something up in this bite. Neil Cavuto said, “There are a lot of differences, but the one commonality, when you get to the scene of the incident — and President Bush was criticized for getting to Katrina too late; this president for not getting to the border at all. So, which is worse, Bush getting to the scene too late or Obama not even going?”

BROWN: During Katrina, you had a focal point, you had the New Orleans Superdome, and that focal point allowed the media to really focus on what was going on in that natural disaster. What you don’t have in the border issue is the focal point. The media hasn’t been able to get in, so there’s no focal point for anybody to focus on, so the American public doesn’t get that this humanitarian crisis is as bad as the natural disaster in Katrina. But the president’s not going to go because this really fits the Limbaugh Theorem, that he uses the words that he’s involved, he’s paying attention, his staff is briefing him, but he’s not gonna go ’cause he doesn’t want a photo-op.

RUSH: Did you catch that, folks? Did you? Former FEMA director “Brownie” referred to the Limbaugh Theorem to explain what Obama is doing vis-a-vis this humanitarian crisis, and he’s right on the money. He understands the Limbaugh Theorem. I’m so thrilled. I’m so excited when somebody outside this universe understands and he gets it. And, you know, it’s also a good point. It, in addition to this… Look, there’s another point I want to make here, too, ’cause I think this is important.

Whenever there is a crisis involving children, the Democrat Party can’t wait to show it to you. They put the children all over, they give us all the details about their plight and their story, and there’s none of that here. And I was joking the other day about a telethon. “Where’s the telethon? Where’s the hashtag?” The truth of the matter is, there will never be a telethon. Because if you do a telethon, if you’re gonna do a Sally Struthers-type thing, you’ve got to give the backstory.

You have to explain who these kids are, how they happened to get here, what in the world is going on — and there’s nobody on the left that wants to go there. In fact, it’s just the opposite. They’re doing everything they can to prevent the story from being told. They don’t want anybody to even take a picture of these kids and the others that are immigrating illegally. They don’t allow cameras in. They’re not allowing the media in. This is one of the first Democrat Party programs for the children where they do not and will not allow anybody to see a single photo.

Drug Dealing, Human Smuggling, Murders, Rapes, Home Invasions

SEAN: “As I sat there today and I’m hearing about these “OTMs” (Other Than Mexicans) people that they are apprehending from Yemen and Pakistan, and other countries, that made me nervous, and the other thing that really stood out is that there have been 624,000 committed by illegal immigrants in the state of Texas! And we’re not talking about petty thief here. We are talking about everything from drug dealing to human smuggling and murder and rape and home invasion. We saw video of one such home invasion. 624,000 crimes! Did I hear that right?” ... » Hear This Not-To-Be-Missed Interview

RUSH: THERE ARE POLICIES IN PLACE DESIGNED TO SHRINK THE U.S. ECONOMY

America’s Number One Radio Talk Show

‘The Shrinking American Economy
Should be the Only News’

Partial Transcript
RUSH: The US economy shrank at a rate of 2.9%. For the sake of simplicity and rounding off, I’m just gonna call it 3% for the rest of the day. Three percent contraction, shrinking. The original report way back when the first quarter number came out was a retraction of one-tenth of 1%, and they said it was because of the cold weather, that people stayed indoors in the comfort of their homes rather than work out, get out and brave the elements to go shopping and engage in commerce.

What is happening, it’s exactly as we talked about yesterday, and I want to go through this again. The natural tendency, because of the design — I’ll give you the example of an airplane again. An airplane, properly designed, wants to fly. The airfoil on the wing, if you achieve enough forward speed, it will fly. That is what it wants to do. You have to work to keep it from flying. You have to purposely fight the airplane to keep it from flying.

The US economy is constructed the same way. Free market capitalism is designed to expand. Free market capitalism, the entrepreneurial driver of free market capitalism is designed to grow, it’s designed to lift off. If it’s a pie, it’s designed to get bigger. That’s how it works. That’s the brilliance, that’s part of American exceptionalism. You have to purposely attack the US economy to cause it to contract this way, and that is what is fundamentally crucial for people to understand.

Three percent contraction. The US economy got smaller by 3%. It should make sense to people by virtue of the fact that the federal government is simply taking so much of it. In Obamacare alone the federal government has simply appropriated one-sixth of that economy, just commandeered it and is in the process of taking it. You add in all of the additional regulations that Washington is inflicting and it’s making starting a business all the more difficult. And that’s the direct result of over-regulation.

The entrepreneurial spirit is being tamped down. The US economy’s natural tendency is being thwarted. There are policies — and this is the key — there are policies in place that are designed to shrink the US economy. They are tax policies, Obamacare, any number of new regulations on businesses large and small. (interruption) Well, but uncertainty is a derivative of all this. The erasing of the Southern border, 95 million Americans not working.

[MONTAGE] RUSH LIMBAUGH: OBAMA CONTRADICTS HIMSELF ON IRAQ

America’s Number One Radio Talk Show

Obama: “There’s No Military Solution In Iraq,
So I’m Sending 300 Military Advisors
-- But They’re Not Gonna Take Sides”

Partial Transcript
RUSH: Anyway, here’s Obama, the first sound bite. It’s a montage. This is exactly how we would prepare it if we were trying to do this on TV.

OBAMA: We’re prepared to send a small number of additional American military advisors, up to 300, to assess how we can best train, advise, and support Iraqi security forces going forward. The United States will not pursue military options that support one sect inside of Iraq at the expense of another. There’s no military solution inside of Iraq, certainly not one that is led by the United States.

RUSH: Now, as soon as that bite finished playing, the studio audience would be rolling in laughter, because it’s outrageously hilarious. Every sentence is contradictory. “We are prepared to send a small number of additional American military advisors, up to 300, to assess how we can best train, advise, and support Iraqi security forces.” Okay? Then, “The United States will not pursue military options to support one sect inside of Iraq at the expense of another.”

Well, then what are we doing training the Iraqi security force? They are one side. And then, “There’s no military solution inside of Iraq, certainly not one that is led by the US.” This, folks, is non sequitur after non sequitur. This is absolutely ludicrous. None of this, put together, makes any sense. It sounds wonderful to a bunch of pacifists. It sounds wonderful to the changing demographics of America, the people who are tolerant and who are minority and want equality and fairness. Why are we sending anybody if we’re not choosing sides?

LIMBAUGH: THE REGIME, HILLARY, MICHELLE OBAMA SYMPATHIZE WITH BOKO HARAM

America’s Number One Radio Talk Show

‘The Regime and Boko Haram:
What This Hashtag Business is Really All About’

» Daily Rushbo
» The Rush Limbaugh Show

RUSH: “Two years ago the New York Times ran an op-ed titled, ‘In Nigeria, Boko Haram Is Not the Problem.’” Two years ago. And Greenfield, FrontPage magazine notes: “The op-ed contended that Boko Haram didn’t exist, that it was a peaceful splinter group and that the Nigerian army was worse than Boko Haram. … The editorial warned the US not to give the impression that it supports Nigeria’s Christian president or it would infuriate Muslims and suggested that Christians might really be behind the Muslim terror attacks.”

That’s the New York Times. If all you know is that the Nigerian government is Christian and that the Regime blames them for the existence of Boko Haram, because this Christian government does not appease Islamists in the country, that Boko Haram came into existence as a militant group, as a terror group because of a Christian government in Nigeria, then you know and have some context in understanding what Daniel Greenfield is saying here. Which, again, is that the hashtag politics isn’t aimed at the terrorists; it’s aimed at helping them.

The Regime, Hillary, Michelle Obama sympathize with Boko Haram. They’re blaming the Christian Nigerian government for creating Boko Haram, and they want to get rid of the Nigerian government, because if you do that, if you appease the terror group by getting rid of the group you think is responsible for their existence, then you’ve made peace with them. You’ve made friends with them and they’ll leave us alone, or whatever convoluted thinking. I’m sorry, my ability to comprehend liberalism only goes so far.

RUSH: GOVERNMENT IS THE REASON THE HEALTH CARE SYSTEM IS BROKEN

America’s Number One Radio Talk Show

‘The Problem in Health Care is Government’
RUSH: Okay, folks, I need your attention. I feel a little guilty here, ’cause I just played a small, little trick on you. I thought I would wait until I got an e-mail or a phone call from somebody to point it out, but that would be cruel. I need to take you back to the woman who called and complained that the hospitals are the one getting rich, the hospital costs $8,000 to buy whatever’s necessary for hip replacement.

They charge $33,000 for it. The doctor gets $1,200. I agree, and I start talking about the surgical centers which are alternatives to hospitals. They’re not unionized; the hospitals are. That market came into life and there’s a cheaper option for surgery in a different place than a hospital. But I just want to remind you something.

There are hospitals going broke, too. Hospitals, emergency rooms, primarily. Not only, but they’re really bad. In places where there is rampant illegal immigration, the ERs are closing ’cause nobody pays. It’s easy to blame hospitals, and for some people it’s easy to blame doctors, and for a lot of people it’s easy to blame the insurance companies — and every time you do be you are playing into the hands of the left.

[...]

The point is… (interruption) Are you denying that some hospitals are going broke? Are you denying hospitals are going out of business? (interruption) You…? (interruption) The point is, I’m just telling you that we all play into the left’s hands and Obama’s hands. When we start blaming insurance companies or hospitals or doctors, it’s an open invitation for the left to say, “Okay, we’ll fix it! You’re right. Those people suck, but we’re the good people.” The government is the reason the system is broken. » Read Full Transcript At ‘The Rush Limbaugh Show’

RUSH LIMBAUGH: A DISTURBING DAY FOR FREE SPEECH

America’s Number One Radio Talk Show

‘Leftist Fascists Force Out Mozilla CEO for
Holding Same Opinion Obama Held in 2008’

RUSH: Ladies and gentlemen, this is a disturbing day for free speech and this country, and it’s been trending. For 25 years… I don’t know. I’ve been thinking that at some point we’re going to bottom out or reach a point where a majority of Americans are just gonna put their foot down and say, “No more!” But it hasn’t happened.

The fear and intimidation of average, ordinary Americans is at an all-time high — fear and intimidation that is silencing people. I’ve been following a story for the past five days, and I purposely have not mentioned it, as I didn’t want to have any influence on the outcome. I wanted to see where this went on its own.

Yes, I’m talking about Brendan Eich from Mozilla. I wanted to see where this went before I weighed in on it. There is cowardice; there is totalitarianism. Political correctness doesn’t even get close to describing what this “story,” for lack of a better term, is all about.

photo ffLogo.jpgSuffice it to say that Brendan Eich is an average, ordinary guy who happens to be pretty brilliant. He’s a computer tech/engineer and one of the cofounders of Mozilla. Now, you may not know the name Mozilla, but if you use the Firefox Internet browser, it comes from Mozilla.

RUSH: GOP ESTABLISHMENT DOES NOT WANT TO RUN AGAINST OBAMACARE

America’s Number One Radio Talk Show

Part 1

Part 2

The GOP Establishment Wants to Run on Fixing
— Not Repealing —Obamacare
RUSH: I’ve got so much stuff here today, folks, and I’m trying to figure out which I want to do first. Here’s Obama with deportations, and here’s Obama with determining who gets overtime, all of this is a distraction. It’s all a distraction from what’s happening with the economy and with Obamacare. I guess this is the big deal to me. We have this massive electoral victory on Tuesday in Florida, Florida 13. And I’ll be damned if the Republican establishment is not doing its best in high gear to tell everybody, “Hey, don’t think that Obamacare was the main factor here.”

It is becoming clear to me — not that it needs to be any more clear — that the Republican establishment does not want to run against Obamacare. Karl Rove has a column today. Karl Rove is on TV this morning on Fox, but there are others in the Republican establishment saying, “Hey, hey! You know, it wasn’t just about Obamacare,” and I’ve heard other members in the Republican establishment say that David Jolly did not say repeal.

RUSH PRAISES SENATOR MARCO RUBIO FOR NAILING SENATOR TOM HARKIN

America’s Number One Radio Talk Show

“We Haven’t Had Communism
BLASTED Like Rubio Did It”

‘Senator Rubio Destroys Harkin on Cuba’

RUSH: I’m kind of torn here ’cause I’ve really got some interesting callers on and I’ve gotta do this Marco Rubio response to Tom Harkin because he just nails Harkin, and this is classic. So I’m gonna try to get a lot of stuff done here. Let’s start with Harkin. This was late Monday afternoon on the Senate floor. Harkin just got back from Cuba, and he’s singing their praises.

[...]

But here, you heard Harkin, this guy’s in love. He’s literally in love, blinded and obsessed, because it’s socialism, which history proves is a dismal failure everywhere it’s tried: Ukraine, Venezuela, Cuba, Detroit. This is absolute insanity to listen to Tom Harkin go on and on and on with such love for Cuba, what a paradise it is. But it isn’t. We haven’t had communism blasted like Rubio did it by an elected official in I don’t know how long. Certainly since the days of Reagan. We have not had an elected official in public bash a communist regime like this in I can’t tell you how long. » Read Full Transcript At ‘The Rush Limbaugh Show’
